The 3rd Annual International Outdoor Writers Tuna Cup Match will be held this week at North Lake.

The competitors gathered at the Lobster Shanty North pre-tournament dinner and briefing session. The two teams of American and Canadian outdoor writers will have eight members on each team.

Fishing was to begin on Wednesday morning and continuing until Saturday.

Members of the Canadian team include Colin Campbell, CJCH, Halifax, N.S. Bertram J. Myers, Ontario Fisherman and Hunter; Ed Watters, CFCY, Charlottetown; Tom Sarsfield, Ottawa Citizen; Jerry Wolfram, St. Catherine Standard, Ontario; Guy Page, Le Journal de Montreal; Raymond Gagne, Le Soliel, Quebec City; John Power, Toronto Star.

The American team includes Charles Searcy, Chattanooga Times, Chattanooga Tenn.; John Wilson, Fort Lauderdale Times; Bob Duffy, Newark Star Ledger; Robert Hutchison, Norfolk Virginia Pilot; Jack Simpson, Field an Stream; Charles Vaughn, Philadelphia Enquirer; Fred Archibald, Great Outdoors Publishing, Florida; Fred Burrall, Pontigorda,

The American team will be out to defend the championship which it won in the two previously held tournaments.
